（By Kelland）The SEC collection proved that China can do couture. Full of pieces you can buy now, wear later, and add to your collection of luxuries. Exaggeration was the theme and it was perfectly executed.
Loud music, loud colors, loud prints. Big skirts, big accessories, big sleeves, big details. Perfect tailoring and color coordination set this show apart. Lime green, orange, and violet were perfect shades for spring and the pieces shown offered something for the adventurous and not so adventurous fashionista in you. Mini skirts with printed leggings and men in full lime green suits actually looked sophisticated. The dresses shown were of perfect proportion and although I can't imagine a man walking down the street in the long tiger dress, when the designer came out on stage donning his own design it looked tastefully over the top.
SEC's pieces are masterpieces and can not be worn by the faint of heart, if you don't have the attitude you will easily get lost in the clothes, but if you step out the door with confidence you will be sure to pull off the look and make everyone around you think you are a superstar. The beauty of his collection lies in the extravagance. A ring that can mask your face, a dress that is woven like a spider web, and even a doll dressed in couture that you can carry as an accessory. The designer's creativity sparkled in every turn.
If you want to wear his pieces for a day to day look buy the flowy printed dresses and the leggings to perk up a basic outfit. If you have an event to go to, the leopard print one-piece, the Lada Gaga inspired pantless suit and the black tuxedo, must carry the cane, will bring out the fierce feminine in you. If you take a trip to the beach nothing will look better than the ornamented swimsuits and light weight parka-for men and women-that were shown.
This show was cutting edge, creative, captivating and inspiring and rivaled the couture cat-walk in Milan, Paris and New York.
